Job description
Conduct trouble shooting and repair of electrical parts and lights of heavy equipment including batteries.
Dismount and mount electrical components.
Disassemble and reassemble selective electrical components.
Do major repair and trouble shooting.
Implement preventive maintenance of electrical components.
Prepare and submit daily accomplishment report.
Prepare electrical part survey.
Attend to breakdowns.
Minimum requirements
Qualification:
Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 3 (NQF 4/10)
Trade Certificate: Auto-Electrician
Experience and Requirements:
5 years relevant experience in Auto Electrical repairs of heavy equipment.
Must be able to interpret Electrical/Electronic schematic diagram of heavy equipment.
Repairing of starter motors, alternators, and other electrical accessories.
Rewiring/Re-harness complete light and heavy equipment.
Experience in Bell ADT, Doosan Front End Loaders and excavators will be an advantage.
Own transport to do standby.
