Job description
Day to day maintenance of equipment
High-level installation, commissioning, maintenance, and reconditioning of Instrumentation equipment
Implementation of systems within the Instrumentation environment
Complete tasks as requested by SAP work orders, notifications, schedules, and defect reports
Do advanced fault finding
Accept specific technical responsibilities in terms of plant shutdowns and modifications
Providing a specialist technical advisory and support function to maintenance and production personnel.
Calibration of equipment Transmitters, pH meters, Valves
Standby
Development / improvement of product
Minimum requirements
Qualification:
Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 3 (NQF 4)
Trade Certificate: Instrument Mechanician
Experience and Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience
Advanced knowledge of instrumentation systems and the maintenance of measuring and control equipment
Knowledge of both DCS’s and PLC’s
ABB DCS knowledge will be advantageous
Rockwell PLC programming
