The ARC- Vegetable, Industrial and Medicinal Plants (ARC-VIMP) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person to the following position at Roodeplaat, Pretoria.

Deliver administrative support to the OHS Officer.
Oversee office operations by creating, monitoring, and implementing processes to ensure timely and effective handling of the division's business, including instructions, correspondence and appointments.
Procurement of goods and services for OHS.
Establish and manage proper record-keeping systems, including filing, retrieval, retention, storage, and destruction.
Provide administrative support needed for the online submission of occupational injuries and diseases claims, campus safety files and OHS technical report
Organize OHS related trainings.
Attend and participate in any OHS/facility meeting as need may be.
Assist in collecting OHS stats for monthly reporting.
Partake in OHS investigations.
Job Requirements
A National Diploma in Occupational/Environmental Health Sciences.
Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite.
Knowledge of administrative processes.
Good interpersonal relation.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
High degree of integrity and tact to handle sensitive and classified information.
A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
