Minimum Requirements:

Academic qualifications:

▪ Relevant Computer Science/Software

Development Masters degree.

▪ Candidates with Honours/BTech

degrees/Postgraduate Diplomas can be

considered if we do not find enough suitable

candidates with Master’s degrees.

Experience:

▪ 3 years teaching experience in a tertiary

environment will be recommended.

▪ Knowledge of the use of ITS will be an

advantage.

▪ Excellence in written, oral, and electronic

communication skills.

▪▪Good command of the subject area

Key performance areas/Core functions:

▪ Teaching of subjects in the ICT Faculty at eMalahleni Campus.

▪ Participating in curriculum development.

▪ Perform administrative tasks related to teaching and learning and other functions

of an academic department at a University of Technology.

▪ Involvement in community engagement projects of the department.

▪ Involvement in specific departmental activities e.g., such as presentation days,

Departmental meetings, Open days, Registration, Orientation etc.

▪ Lecturing duties: Lecturing, Invigilating, and Marking of Scripts, Processing of

Marks.
