Key Performance Areas
To perform instrumentation maintenance and repairs on ERWAT wastewater and Water treatment equipment. Perform instrumentation maintenance and calibrations of online/portable equipment on all ERWAT sites. Meet with Supervisor on a daily basis to discuss previous day’s maintenance and determine maintenance schedule (ad hoc and routine) for the day. Assist the electrical, mechanical artisans in connecting and disconnecting instrumentation equipment to allow for maintenance on electrical, mechanical equipment. In performing his/her, duties the incumbent must at all times ensure adherence to Safety Standards and technical standards at all times.
Requirements
• Instrumentation mechanician trade test.
• Code EB Driver’s License.
• Computer Literate.
• Minimum 5 years working experience as an Instrumentation mechanician preferably in wastewater and water treatment industry.
ELECTRICIAN – C2 – X5

Key Performance Areas
To perform electrical maintenance and repairs on ERWAT wastewater and Water Treatment equipment. Develop SOP’s and revise when necessary. Meet with Supervisor on a daily basis to discuss previous day’s maintenance and determine maintenance schedule (ad hoc and routine) for the day. Create and load job cards and execute work orders according to planned maintenance schedules. Carry out routine maintenance on all portable and fixed electrical equipment by performing electrical tests, recording, and reporting on the CMMS. Assist the Mechanical Artisans by connecting
and disconnecting electrical equipment to allow for maintenance on mechanical equipment. In performing his/her, duties the incumbent must at all times ensure adherence to Safety Standards and technical standards at all times. Must have full knowledge of electricity.
Requirements
• Electrical trade test.
• Code EB Driver’s License.
• Computer Literate.
• Wireman’s License.
• Minimum 5 years working experience as an Electrician preferably in wastewater and water treatment industry.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and lead others.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
FITTER – C2 – X8

Key Performance Areas
To perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on ERWAT wastewater and Water Treatment equipment. Develop SOP’s and constantly revise where necessary. Attend to mechanical maintenance of equipment. Meet with Supervisor on a daily basis to discuss previous day’s maintenance and determine maintenance schedule (ad hoc and routine) for the day. Effect repairs by turning or replacing old or worn parts of broken equipment. Find solutions to plant problems by liaising with the Supervisors, Plant managers and taking remedial actions. In performing his/her, duties the incumbent must at all times ensure adherence to Safety Standards and technical standards at all times.
Requirements
• Trade Test (Fitter).
• Code EB Driver’s License.
• Computer Literacy.
• Minimum 5 years working experience as a Fitter preferably in wastewater and water treatment industry.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and lead others.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
EE objectives will be taken into consideration during the appointments.
