Key performance areas
•Recruit participants according to study inclusion/exclusion criteria
•Address relevant concerns and misconceptions about the study with participants
•Receive queries from participants and address them accordingly
•Report on number of participants recruited by team on daily basis
•Report on follow- up visits, missed visits, surveillance calls and illness visits on a daily basis
•Ensure that ICF and source documents are completed and signed correctly when consenting participants
•Conduct home visits if follow up calls are unsuccessful as and when required by the clinic SOP’s/specific study protocol
•Follow GCP guidelines when completing participant visit forms for every participant or potential participant
Required minimum education and training
•Grade 12, Proficiency in MS Office
Required minimum work experience and abilities
•At least 2 years’ experience in working at facility and/or community with knowledge and experience in recruitment and retention
•Good Clinical Practice
•Certificate in HIV Counselling and Testing
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
•Team player
•Ability to work without close supervision
•Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
