SAICA TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT OPPORTUNITY
The East London Industrial Development Zone SOC Ltd is a State Owned Corporation set up by government through
the South African Special Economic Zones Programme (previously under the Industrial Development Zones Programme) to
develop, operate and maintain modern infrastructure and to attract strategic investments for the region.
The East London IDZ has a 3-year SAICA-accredited Accountant training programme available for graduates who seek
an opportunity to acquire relevant experience and competencies needed to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
Area of Exposure: Financial Management
Field of Study
• Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting / Postgraduate
Diploma in Accounting / Accounting Science
OR
• CTA/ Articles level qualification from a SAICA accredited University
OR
• SAICA Initial Assessment of Competency (IAC)
Other Requirements:
• Relevant studies have been completed.
• South African citizen (preference will be given to applicants from Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality).

• First preference will be given to top performers academically.
• You must be between the age of 18 -35 years.
