Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:
Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products.
Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to ensure that inventory remains accurate and up-to-date.
ORDER FULFILMENT:
Pick, pack, and prepare products for orders.
Ensure that orders are accurately fulfilled and that products meet quality standards before dispatch.
RECEIVING AND STORING:
Receiving items, checking for accuracy, and store products in the correct locations.
Handle and store products according to safety and hygiene regulations to prevent contamination.
DOCUMENTATION AND RECORD-KEEPING:
Maintain proper documentation of inventory movements, including shipping and receiving logs.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to update and track inventory.
QUALITY CONTROL:
Inspect products for quality and freshness, reporting any issues with damaged or expired goods.
Ensure all poultry products are stored at appropriate temperatures to maintain quality.
HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE:
Follow all health and safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of perishable goods like poultry.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols in the warehouse environment.
TEAM COLLABORATION:
Work closely with other warehouse staff, such as forklift operators and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with transportation teams to coordinate deliveries.
REQUIREMENTS:
Detail-oriented and organized.
Must be proficient with Excel.
Good communication skills.
